Rickitt Mitchell shortlisted in three Insider Deals Awards categories
PRESS RELEASE

Manchester-based corporate finance advisers, Rickitt Mitchell were shortlisted in no less than three categories at the Insider North West Dealmakers Awards 2011.

The firm was selected for Corporate Finance Advisory Team of the Year, AiM Deal of the Year for the Instem Life Science Systems plc floatation, and Deal of the Year for the sale of Leighs Paints to US multinational Sherwin Williams.

More than 800 of the region's top dealmakers attended the event at Manchester Central, with Betfred’s £265m acquisition of The Tote the big winner of the evening.

Managing Partner, Stuart Moss said: “Despite the number of transactions being down year-on-year, there have still been some exceptional deals so to be recognised in three categories is no mean feat.  Rest assured we’ll be back next year with an even stronger entry.”

Rickitt Mitchell has already enjoyed awards success this year with Neil Mitchell named as Young Dealmaker of the Year at Insider’s North West Young Professionals Awards.

At the EN Deals Awards, the firm acted as lead financial advisor on the Best Deal under £10m for the Floatation on AiM of Instem Life Science Systems plc and the Best Deal between £10-£50m for the acquisition of iSEC Partners by NCC Group plc.
