Rickitt Mitchell has, for many
years, been helping its clients to acquire other companies,
both private and public. We are experienced in helping to
develop and refine acquisition strategies, identifying suitable
targets and establishing a dialogue with potential vendors.
The first step in the process
is for us to gain a thorough understanding of your own business
and to discuss your acquisition strategy with you. In this
way, we ensure that we can provide you with the best advice.
Following our discussions, we carry out detailed research
and produce a list of possible acquisitions. Once you have
agreed a shortlist of targets, we make a discreet approach
to the potential vendors. We help you to value the target
and formulate an offer with an appropriate structure. In our
role as project manager, we co-ordinate your other professional
advisers and drive the transaction to a successful completion
- if that remains the best course of action.
We will also help you to raise and structure any acquisition
finance which may be required. This funding may come from
banking, asset finance or private equity sources or a combination
thereof.
Private equity buy-side advice
We provide specialist acquisitions advice and project management
skills to private equity houses looking to acquire businesses
through an institutional buy-out process.
In this role, our detailed understanding of the private equity
market and highly leveraged transactions is supplemented by
our long experience of advising private company vendors.
