Stuart Moss BSc FCSI
Stuart is Managing Partner of Rickitt Mitchell and for over 25 years has successfully provided advice to corporates, management teams, entrepreneurs and private equity houses on a range of mid-market transactions.
During a recent 10 year period, acting as the retained adviser to a UK public company, Stuart managed a business development programme that resulted in the identification and acquisition of 20 companies in the US and Europe, investing a total of £300m.
Stuart is a Management Science graduate of the University of Manchester and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments.
Brian Higgins MA ACA
With over 15 years of corporate finance experience, Brian has successfully advised entrepreneurs, private companies and quoted companies on a range of disposals, acquisitions and fundraisings with values from £1m to £215m. Brian is also Chairman of Amicus Building Products, where he acted as joint principal in the initial MBI and subsequent buy and build strategy to create the current £16m turnover group.
Brian joined Rickitt Mitchell from Arthur Andersen in 1999 after completing his MA in Literae Humaniores (Classics) at Jesus College, Oxford.
Neil Mitchell BSc FCA
Since joining Rickitt Mitchell in 2004 Neil has delivered a wide range of deals, from the £21m flotation of Instem PLC to the MBI of Green & Benz and the acquisition of Wight Salads by APS to form a £100m turnover business.
Prior to joining Rickitt Mitchell Neil was at PwC's Leeds office where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in its assurance and business advisory department.
Victoria joined Rickitt Mitchell in 1999 from CLB Coopers, where she had been working as PA to the national managing partner. She is PA to the partners and executive team as well as managing all aspects of the office administration. Dedicated and professional, Victoria is key to the smooth running of the firm.
Alex Wilson BSc ACA
Alex has helped deliver deals as diverse as the acquisition of Accumuli plc by NCC Group plc for £55m and the start-up fundraising for Datacentred of £4m. Strongly analytical with a ferocious appetite for work, Alex consistently impresses clients with his understanding of their businesses and his ability to communicate their value to potential acquirers or funders.
Alex is an economics graduate of the University of Nottingham and qualified as an accountant with PwC prior to joining Rickitt Mitchell in 2011.
Kaine Smith BA CA
Corporate Finance Manager
Kaine joined Rickitt Mitchell in 2013 from Ernst & Young, where he had qualified as a chartered accountant. Kaine is a Business Management graduate from Nottingham University.
Kaine has a natural ability to understand clients and their businesses and to project manage the many information flows required to deliver a deal successfully. His recent transactional experience includes the £130m AiM flotation of DJI Holdings plc and Better Capital’s £9m disposal of Calyx Managed Services to MXC Capital plc.
Rob Bennett BSC ACCA
Corporate Finance Executive
Robert joined Rickitt Mitchell from AlixPartners’ Leeds office in 2015, having spent three years working on a number of restructuring and advisory assignments. Most recently, Robert completed a 12 month secondment within AlixPartners’ London-based debt advisory practice, helping to both raise and refinance debt facilities for a mix of corporate and private equity clients.
Robert is a maths and physics graduate from Durham University and newly qualified ACCA.
Paul Mitchell BSc FCA
Non Executive Chairman
Paul joined Peter Rickitt in 1981 and together they developed Rickitt Mitchell into a leading independent corporate finance boutique delivering ground breaking deals. Paul has completed every kind of corporate finance deal as adviser to a wide range of clients over sectors as diverse as engineering, professional services, IT and airlines. As Non Executive Chairman of fully listed NCC Group PLC and AiM quoted Styles & Wood Group PLC and a number of private companies, Paul continues to create value and provide strategic guidance as a board member.
After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1975, Paul spent three years post qualification with Coopers & Lybrand. He joined County Bank's corporate finance department in 1978 before joining Rickitt Mitchell in 1981.
