Rickitt Mitchell Partner, Neil Mitchell, has been recognised as one of the most influential figures across financial and professional services in the North West Business Insider’s 2022 Professional Power List.

Joining the firm over 18 years ago, Neil has spent the majority of his career at Rickitt Mitchell and, in that time, has advised on transactions valued in excess of £1.5bn. He has led countless disposals, acquisitions, private equity and IPO processes to a successful conclusion, many of which have had an international or private equity angle.

Neil has shaped and steered the development of the team in the last 18 years, driving the wider organisations objectives forward. He has successfully provided advice to corporates, management teams, entrepreneurs and private equity houses on a range of mid-market transactions and built an exceptional following of clients and professionals alike.

Recent deals he has advised on include sale of private equity backed Antler Luggage to Australia based Strandbags, leading a triple track process delivering the £80m flotation of Van Elle Holdings and £30m disposal of Vision Support Services to US-based WestPoint Home.

Other transactions include acquisition of Dutch owned Wight Salads Limited by APS Group to form a £150m+ turnover business, the dual fundraising from private equity investor BGF, and a €1bn revenue European Corporate into APS Group, and the £130m IPO of DJI Holdings plc – amongst many more.

Rickitt Mitchell celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2021. Neil has made one of the most significant contributions to the business’ success in that time.

The wider Rickitt Mitchell team would like to extend its congratulations to Neil on his nomination.
