AV Distribution was founded in 2003 by Carl Pickles, AV Online operates from a 26,000 sq ft warehouse, offices and showroom in Bacup. It is an online retailer of audio-visual equipment, including home cinema systems, HiFi systems, speakers, cables, headphones and accessories.
York Based Gear4music has acquired A V Distribution Ltd trading as AV online for £9m. The deal was subject to approval by the FCA under change of ownership provisions, this approval was successfully received in December 2021. The aquisition of AV online and AV.com gives Gear4Music a real opportunity to further develop its reach in the AV market across key European territories.
